Tempo Traveller hire for groups
A Tempo Traveller is the easiest way for a family or group to travel together in the mountains: one vehicle, one driver who knows the roads, and room for everyone’s luggage. We run Tempo Travellers from Manali, Leh and Srinagar and for drops to Chandigarh, Delhi and Amritsar.

Frequently asked questions
How many people fit in a Tempo Traveller?
Tempo Travellers come in several sizes. Tell us your group size and luggage, and we will send the right vehicle; for bigger groups we can arrange a mini coach.
Is the Tempo Traveller fare per person?
No. The fare is for the whole vehicle, so it gets cheaper per person as the group gets bigger.
Can a Tempo Traveller go to Nubra, Pangong and Tso Moriri?
Yes. The Leh Ladakh taxi union publishes Tempo Traveller fares for Nubra, Pangong and Tso Moriri. Some remote routes such as Hanle and Umling La have no Tempo rate; ask us for these.
What is the Tempo Traveller fare from Manali to Delhi?
A Manali to Delhi drop in a Tempo Traveller costs ₹20,000 per vehicle on our current Manali rate list. Toll, parking, state taxes and driver allowance are included.
Can I use a Tempo Traveller for local sightseeing in Leh?
Rental vehicles registered outside Ladakh are generally not allowed for sightseeing inside Ladakh, so we arrange a Leh-registered Tempo Traveller for Leh, Nubra and Pangong.
