Best time to ride: month by month
The high passes to Ladakh, Zanskar and Spiti open around June and close with the first heavy snow in October. The Himachal loop is best in spring and autumn, outside the monsoon.

Just need a bike? Royal Enfield rental
Riding on your own plan? Rent a Royal Enfield or KTM from us without a guided tour. Pick up the bike in Manali, Leh or Chandigarh, and add a marshal, mechanic, backup vehicle or hotels only if you want them. Rates start at ₹1,500 a day for a Classic 350 and ₹2,500 for a Himalayan 450.
Rental bikes registered outside Ladakh are generally not allowed for sightseeing inside Ladakh under local union rules. For Nubra, Pangong, Hanle and Tso Moriri, pick up a Leh-registered bike in Leh. We will confirm the right arrangement for your route.
Bike rental and service rates
The same per-day rates apply on every custom tour. Bike and accommodation are per person; the marshal, mechanic and backup vehicle are shared by the group. Fixed departures on the Ladakh tours cost ₹36,000 per person with all services included.

Can I rent a bike without joining a tour?
Yes. Rent a Royal Enfield or KTM from ₹1,500 a day with pickup in Manali, Leh or Chandigarh, and add a marshal, mechanic, backup vehicle or hotels only if you want them. For sightseeing inside Ladakh, pick up a Leh-registered bike in Leh.
Which bike is best for Ladakh and Spiti?
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 or 411 is the best choice for the high passes and rough roads of Ladakh, Zanskar and Spiti. The Classic 350 is comfortable at an easy pace on mostly tarmac routes such as the Himachal loop.
Which bike tour should I choose?
For the classic Ladakh ride, choose Manali to Leh. If you want to finish in Kashmir, take Manali – Leh – Srinagar, or start in Srinagar for the gentlest acclimatisation. Spiti suits riders who like remote, rough roads; the Himachal tour is best for first-time mountain riders or a short trip.
How do I book a bike tour?

What is included in a fixed departure?
Bike, accommodation, marshal, mechanic and backup vehicle. Fuel, meals and permit fees are extra.
Can I bring my own bike?
Yes. Choose only the services you need in the booking form, for example accommodation, marshal and backup vehicle, and leave the bike service as NO.
When is the riding season?
Ladakh and Kashmir routes run from June to September or early October, while the high passes are open. Spiti runs from June to September. The Himachal tour runs in spring and autumn, outside the monsoon.
