Yes. Hotels are ₹1,500 per person per night in the off season (1 April – 30 September (summer & monsoon)), ₹2,250 in the season (1 October – 31 March) and ₹3,500 in the Christmas & New Year peak (20 December – 5 January). The deluxe houseboat with all meals is ₹3,500 / ₹5,000 / ₹7,000 per person. The cab has the same rate all year.

What is the houseboat like?
A private deluxe AC houseboat (kettuvallam) with one bedroom per couple, attached bathroom, a sit-out deck and a crew who cook Kerala meals on board. Check-in 12 noon, check-out 9 AM; the boat cruises until about 5:30 PM and then anchors for the night.
Are entry fees included?
No – except the houseboat meals. For example Eravikulam National Park is ₹200 for Indians and ₹500 for foreigners, the Tea Museum ₹125 and Mattancherry Palace ₹5 / ₹100. Park, palace and museum tickets are paid by you at the gate; the houseboat meals are included. Shows and the Periyar boat ride can be added in the price calculator. Eravikulam National Park is closed in February – March. "approx." rates can change.
When is the best time to visit Kerala?
September to March is the most pleasant; December – January is the peak. April – May is hot on the coast but cool in Munnar. June – August is the monsoon – green, cheap and great for Ayurveda.
Which vehicles are available?
Alto and Sedan up to 4 persons, Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Innova Crysta and Scorpio N up to 6, and Tempo Traveller 12, 14 or 17 seater – all air-conditioned.
Do children pay for the hotel?
Children below 5 years stay free. Two persons in a room pay the full double-room rate; a 3rd person on an extra bed – adult or child from 5 years – pays 40% of the double-room rate. A single person pays 80% of the double-room rate.
How much advance is needed to book?
20% advance confirms the booking and the balance is paid on arrival. 5% GST is added only if you need a GST bill.
How do I reach Cochin Airport?
By air – Cochin (COK) and Trivandrum airports. By train – Ernakulam and Trivandrum stations. By road – Good roads from Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore.
