This Manali 3 nights 4 days tour package is planned for guests who reach Manali by overnight Volvo from Delhi or Chandigarh. Our driver picks you up at Manali Volvo Parking and takes you to your hotel. On Day 4 you check out and manage your own drop.

DAY 1Arrival at Manali Volvo Parking – Manali Local Sightseeing

On arrival at Manali Volvo Parking (overnight Volvo usually arrives 7–10 AM), our driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Freshen up and rest. Check-in is 12 noon; early check-in depends on availability. After lunch, start the tour:
Visit the main sights of Manali town:
Four-tier pagoda wooden temple built in 1553, dedicated to Hidimba, wife of Bhima. Set in a tall deodar forest, with the Ghatotkach shrine nearby. Yak rides and photos in local Himachali dress.
Fun spot on the Manalsu stream with indoor games, river crossing and small amusement rides. Good for families, with a small market for woollens.
Colourful Gadhan Thekchhokling monastery built by Tibetan settlers, with a large Buddha statue, murals and prayer wheels. Tibetan market for handicrafts nearby.
Peaceful park of giant deodar trees on the bank of the Beas, opposite Mall Road. Small lake with boating in season.
Manali's main street for an evening walk, cafes, local food and shopping for shawls, woollens and dry fruits.

DAY 2Rohtang Pass with Solang Valley & Atal Tunnel

Early breakfast and start around 6–7 AM to reach Rohtang before the crowd. The road climbs from the Kullu valley to the snow line, crosses into Lahaul and comes back through the Atal Tunnel:
Natural cold-water spring named after Pandit Nehru, who drank from it on his visits. First stop of the day.
Small village above a deep gorge of the Beas river, with wide views of the valley and snow peaks.
Meadows and snow point in early summer, inside a protected forest. Many films have been shot here.
Waterfall fed by melting snow, falling over rocks beside the road. A popular photo stop.
Last halt before Rohtang with dhabas for tea, Maggi and parathas. Snow dresses can be hired on the way.
Snowfield and glacier area where snow stays even in summer. Good place for snow play.
High mountain pass between Kullu and Lahaul. Snow, glacier views, snow scooter, skiing and sledging (extra cost). Permit included.
First village in Lahaul on the Chandra river, surrounded by bare, rocky mountains, very different from green Kullu.
Opened in 2020, one of the world's longest highway tunnels above 10,000 ft. It links Lahaul with Solang side in about 10 minutes.
Adventure valley with paragliding, ropeway, ATV rides and zorbing in summer, and skiing in winter (all extra cost).

DAY 2Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel & Sissu / Khoksar

After breakfast, drive to the snow of Solang Valley and through the Atal Tunnel into the Lahaul valley:

Snow-covered slopes in winter with skiing, snow scooter, ropeway and snow play (extra cost). Snow dresses on rent here.

After breakfast, drive down the Kullu valley and up the Parvati valley to Kasol and the holy town of Manikaran:
Tandem paragliding flights over the Beas valley with trained pilots (extra cost, weather permitting).
White-water rafting on the Beas river with guides and safety gear (extra cost). Best from April to June and September–October.
Cave-style temple of Mata Vaishno Devi on the highway near Kullu town, visited by many devotees.
Watch weavers make the famous Kullu shawls on handlooms and buy shawls, caps and woollens direct.
Riverside village on the Parvati river, known for pine forests, cafés and riverside walks. A favourite stop for young travellers.
Sacred town of Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib and the Ram Temple, with natural boiling hot springs where langar rice is cooked.

Where is the pickup and drop in this package?
Pickup is from Manali Volvo Parking to your hotel on Day 1. Day 4 drop is managed by the guest – after check out you continue your journey on your own.
Is Rohtang Pass open every day?
No. Rohtang Pass is closed for tourists every Tuesday and in winter from 1 December to 20 April due to snow. A permit is required. If Rohtang is closed on your date, Day 2 is Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu / Khoksar.
Which vehicle is best for my group?
Alto and Sedan seat up to 4 persons, Ertiga, Toyota Innova and Toyota Innova Crysta up to 6, and Tempo Traveller 12, 14, 17 or 26 seater for bigger groups. Children are counted as persons.
Is this package good for honeymoon and family trips?
Yes. The plan moves at an easy pace with comfortable hotels and a private cab, which suits couples, families and friends.
How much advance is needed to book?
20% advance confirms the booking and the balance is paid on arrival. 5% GST is added only if you need a GST bill.
Can we visit Rohtang Pass in winter?
No. Rohtang Pass is closed for tourists from 1 December to 20 April. In these months Day 2 is Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Sissu / Khoksar, where you get plenty of snow.
